Department of Economics cordially invites you to attend the webinar on Why tax urban land and property? A policy discussion on Monday, 5th October, 2020 at 02:00 P.M. Mr. Shahrukh Wani will deliver the lecture. Shahrukh Wani is an economist at the International Growth Centre (IGC)'s Cities that Work team based at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. He works principally on providing economic policy analysis to policymakers in Africa and South Asia on public finance and urban governance. He also writes on public policy in Pakistan that has been published in Dawn, among others.

The webinar is organized by the Department of Economics as part of its Economics Research Seminar Series (ERSS). The abstract and zoom details are provided here.
