Department of Economics cordially invites you to the twelfth session of Economics Research Seminar Series (ERSS) on Friday, December 4th, 2020 at 04:30 P.M. (PST). This session's speaker will be Dr. Fareena Malhi, who will be presenting her recent paper "When norms collide: The effect of religious holidays on compliance with COVID guidelines". Dr. Malhi is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at University of the Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan. She has completed her PhD from American University as a Fulbright Scholar. Her research interests include applied microeconomics and behavioral economics focusing on gender, education, and health. Previously, she has also worked with Oxfam America.
